Los Angles International Airport (KLAX)
Champagne Charter Flight for Goodyear Blimp
to and from
Los Angeles International Airport

| Special Rules for Charter Flights to and from
Los Angeles International Airport
The Noble Air Los Angeles Hub has leased the Goodyear Blimp Defender for Champagne flights around the Los Angeles Basin. The flight will include a trip across the Channel to Santa Catalina Island. Because of the congestion at KLAX, the flights will be made from the Noble Air terminal located at the Goodyear Blimp Base in Carson, California - 7L0 is the airport identifier. The lease agreement prohibits the use of the Goodyear blimp for any other flights. We thank Bill Lyons, designer of the Goodyear Blimp for his authorization to use the Noble Air Decal on the tailfin of the Blimp. Since the length of the flight will vary due to the weather and route traveled, only departure times are listed. The Defender was made in 1929 so you will not find much in the way of navigation equipment. Fly a compass heading of about 180 and after a short time you should see the Island. |
