Routes
& Schedules 2008
With
the introduction of the PIREP Scheme in October 2008 there has been a
change to the way we choose our routes from day to day.
The
"Assignment" and "Find a Route" components of the
PIREP system are very closely based on the routes listed below and meticulously
prepared by Mick Kreiner. There have been a few changes to route names
and also a few flight times. They also now include some suggested routing
between the departure and destination airports. The original routes also
include some suggestions for Round the World (Global) flights.
For
this reason I have kept the links to Mick's 2007 routes as they can be
very useful for ideas on charter flights etc.Mick's routes are also limited
to Gatwick & London City, but the expanded Hub now includes routes
based on Heathrow, Stansted.
Immediately
below are links to the routes that have actually been uploaded to the
PIREP system. They are available in Excel and Html formats.

Routes
& Schedules 2007
Mick Kreiner
has spent many hours compiling these new routes and schedules for destinations
throughout the World. He has produced a set of routes and schedules that
are as "Real as it Gets" and provide us with plenty of opportunities
to fly real world schedules and times.
Thanks Mick
on behalf of the Hub for all your hard work.

CHARTER FLIGHTS
Although the
Golden Lion schedules are to "charter" destinations, pilots
are allowed to fly their own Charter Flights.
A charter flight
is defined as any flight that is not a regularly scheduled flight from
Gatwick. An example would be reconstructing your family holiday flight
from Luton to Toulouse.
